History:
Factions: Gotei 13: The Gotei 13 are the main faction of Shinigami claiming at least 99.7% of all 'living' Shinigami. The Gotei 13 are the military force of Serreti, the Spirit kingdom, that handle many different jobs within the city. The Gotei 13 are divided into 13 major divisions and 2 minor divisions. The 13 major factions are known as the 13 Division Imperial Guards, or more colloquially the 13 squads. The two minor factions are the Kido Corps, and the Onmitsukido. The major difference between the two is size and political standing, The 13 Squads each have captains which act as an oligarchical governing force under the king of Serreti, while the Kido corps and Onmitsukido have no representation in the court of 13 and thus are completely dependent, for this reason and others the Kido Corps and Onmitsukido are much smaller than any of the 13 divisions.
Each of the 13 squads has sever positions of rank, the highest is the leader and major representative of the squad, its Captain, The second in the Captains right hand assistant, and commonly the second most powerful member of the squad, the Lieutenant, and all others falling into some descending rank below.
